Every correction of data on the site and every change of the rules that decide which pages exist is listed here, newest first.

Log

  • October 27, 2026. Corrections before launch. (1) Notes: where a Tabular List entry has two instruction blocks of the same kind, only the first was printed; 104 notes on 39 entries were missing (among them E09, H65, L51, T81.4, O85, I13.0, the transport accident definitions of V00-V99 and the second chapter 19 note). All are printed now, and each build checks that no note of the source is missing. (2) 209 codes of seven characters that are codes of their own (T86.8401, C44.1021, M86.8X11 and others) were shown as 7th characters of their parent; they are rows with their titles now. (3) CMS-HCC is shown only for codes billable in FY2027; 14 codes that became headers (I42.0, G35, M86.8X1 and others) no longer show one. (4) CC/MCC flags now carry the principal-diagnosis exclusion and, for 8 codes, the discharged-alive condition of MS-DRG Appendix C. (5) Titles follow the Tabular List spelling (Sézary, Ménière). (6) The first set of single-code pages is released with this wave: frequently used codes that meet the page rule below.
  • October 24, 2026. Launch rules (wave W1a). Every chapter, every block with two or more categories and every category has a page; codes are rows of their category's table and cards of the search box. Code titles, notes and Index entries are checked against the NCHS FY2027 files on every build. Edition FY2027, effective October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027.

Rules in force: Every chapter, every block of two or more categories and every category has a page. A code or a subcategory gets a page of its own when the NCHS files give it at least 2 facts of its own (Index entries that lead to it, or notes printed at it); a subcategory also needs 2 or more codes below it. In this first wave 54 such pages exist, for frequently used codes; the other codes that meet the rule follow in the next wave. Until then they are rows of their category's table and cards of the search box.
